Carla Trail

Carla Trail is the owner and lead injector at Skin Perfect Aesthetics & Wellness. Born and raised in Manchester, TN, Carla’s journey into healthcare began with her nursing degree from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Shortly before completing her degree, she married her husband, Shawn Trail, and they have been together for 16 years, raising their five children.

Driven by her passion for patient care, Carla pursued further education, earning her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) credentials from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2014. Her career has been marked by diverse experiences across various medical fields, including the Vanderbilt trauma unit, St. Thomas Rutherford Emergency Room, infant nursery, and NICU.

Carla also completed a training period as an NP in urgent care, where she developed a deep appreciation for clinic-style care. After gaining extensive experience in these high-intensity environments, Carla recognized the need for a more personalized and approachable model of care in the Med Spa industry. This realization led her to open Skin Perfect Aesthetics & Wellness, where she combines her clinical expertise with a commitment to providing down-to-earth, patient-centered care.
